A great Wadi Rum experience!

“From start to finish, our experience with Amina for the planning and Eid on site was perfect. Our children were enchanted by what they saw and by their conversations with Eid, our guide […] We absolutely recommend it!”

The authentic Wadi Rum

“A very warm welcome from Eid and his team. […] Lovely accommodation, in a tent or bivouac in Eid’s “private cave”, excellent food […] everything was perfect!”

Frequently asked questions

Do I need climbing experience?
Not for sport climbing: Eid picks easy routes and explains everything at the foot of the wall. For Crazy Camel, you need to be at ease on 6a.
What gear is provided?
Harness, helmet, ropes, quickdraws and belay gear are provided. Helmets are worn for the whole outing.
Should I bring my climbing shoes?
No need: we lend climbing shoes. If you have your own, bring them, you will feel more at ease.
Can we climb after rain?
Not right away: wet sandstone becomes fragile, so we let the rock dry for a day. We then suggest another outing or another day.
Half day or full day?
A half day is enough to discover and climb a few routes. A full day gives you time to progress, with a Bedouin lunch between sessions.
How do I pay?
In cash, in Jordanian dinars (JOD), on site. No cards, and no deposit when you book.
Can we climb in summer?
Yes, but only early in the morning or late in the day, because of the heat. Spring and autumn are still the best seasons.
