Yes, we offer bivouacs under the stars in all seasons, with thick blankets and campfires for extra comfort. Traditional Bedouin tents and individual tents are also available for those who prefer a warmer and more sheltered option.

In summer, sunrise is around 5:30 a.m. and sunset around 7:30 p.m.

In winter, sunrise is around 6:30 a.m. and sunset around 5:30 p.m.

Our guides and staff in Wadi Rum speak fluent Arabic and English. Some members of our team can also speak other languages, such as French. If you have specific language requirements, please let us know at the time of booking, and we will do our best to provide a guide who speaks your language.

Jordan is generally considered a safe country for travelers, and Wadi Rum is no exception. Jordanians are well known for their hospitality and kindness toward visitors. However, as with any trip abroad, it is important to take basic precautions regarding safety and personal well-being.

In case of a medical emergency in Wadi Rum, immediately inform your guide or the support team. They are trained to handle emergency situations and will provide quick and appropriate assistance. If necessary, they will contact emergency medical services or arrange transportation to the nearest hospital.

For your safety and peace of mind, it is strongly recommended to take out travel insurance that covers medical emergencies and evacuation costs. We also advise you to carry a basic first-aid kit, including essential medications and medical supplies, to handle minor health issues that may arise during your trip.

As the areas we visit during our trips are remote, there are no conventional showers or toilets available. However, we make sure to carry enough water for you to stay clean during your journey. At the end of your stay, we can arrange for you to take a shower at our camp. Please remember to bring your own towel for this purpose.

Each spacious Bedouin tent can accommodate up to four people, but it can also be used for single or double occupancy. Each tent is equipped with a lock, allowing you to leave your luggage safely secured while you explore the desert.

No, we provide all the necessary bedding, including sheets, pillows, and duvets. Extra blankets are also available during the cooler winter months.

Each tent is equipped with a power outlet, and charging stations are also available in the communal tent. However, there is no Wi-Fi available once you leave the village of Wadi Rum. We recommend bringing a power bank to recharge your electronic devices such as phones and cameras.

The camp is equipped with a shared bathroom block, and we kindly ask you to bring your own towel.

All meals are served in the main communal tent or in the cave garden, and we offer traditional Bedouin cuisine. During desert campouts, meals are cooked over an open fire, and the cave is also equipped with an underground Zarb oven. During your stay with us, you will have the opportunity to taste delicious Bedouin dishes, including the famous Zarb. This traditional specialty consists of vegetables and chicken slow-cooked underground for about 2.5 hours, resulting in exceptionally tender and flavorful food. The following morning, our skilled cook will also prepare breakfast before your return to the village. If you have any special dietary requirements, please let us know in advance. We also provide a sufficient supply of bottled mineral water and Bedouin tea free of charge.

We do not require any prepayment for tour or accommodation bookings. Payment is made on site during your visit to Wadi Rum. We accept cash payments in Jordanian dinars (JOD). Please note that we do not accept credit or debit cards at this time. We recommend bringing enough cash to cover the cost of your tour, accommodation, tips, and any additional expenses.

It is important to know that certain types of shops are not available in Wadi Rum. If you are looking for specific items or products, you will need to go to Aqaba, the nearest city. The shops in the village of Wadi Rum only sell basic food items and souvenirs.

If you wish to buy food before leaving Wadi Rum, we have a restaurant where you can purchase meals or snacks. Simply ask your guide to take you there before your departure.
