Yes, we offer overnight bivouac experiences under the stars all year round, including in winter. We provide thick blankets and campfires to ensure your comfort during colder nights. Individual tents and traditional Bedouin tents are also available for those who prefer a warmer and more insulated option.
In summer, sunrise is around 5:30 AM and sunset is around 7:30 PM.
In winter, sunrise is around 6:30 AM and sunset is around 5:30 PM.

Our guides and staff speak Arabic and English fluently. Some members of our team may also speak other languages such as French. If you have specific language requirements, please let us know when making your reservation and we will do our best to provide a guide who speaks your language.

Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options are available upon request, as well as meals adapted to specific allergies or intolerances. Jordan is generally considered a safe country for travelers, and Wadi Rum is no exception. Jordanians are well known for their hospitality and kindness towards visitors. However, as with any trip abroad, it is important to take basic safety precautions during your stay.
In case of a medical emergency, please inform your guide or the camp team immediately. They are trained to handle emergency situations and will provide quick and appropriate assistance. If necessary, they will contact emergency medical services or arrange transportation to the nearest hospital.
For your safety and peace of mind, it is strongly recommended to have travel insurance that covers medical emergencies and evacuation costs. You should also bring a basic first aid kit with essential medications and supplies for minor health issues that may occur during your trip.
As the areas we visit during our tours are remote, there are no conventional showers or toilets available in the desert. However, we make sure to carry enough water so that you can stay clean during your trip. At the end of your stay, we can arrange for you to take a shower at our camp. Please remember to bring your own towel for this purpose.
Each spacious Bedouin tent can accommodate up to four people, but can also be used for single or double occupancy. Each tent is equipped with a lock so you can safely leave your luggage while exploring the desert.
No, we provide all necessary bedding, including sheets, pillows and duvets. Extra blankets are also available during the cooler winter months.
Charging stations are available in the common tent. However, there is no Wi-Fi available once you leave Wadi Rum Village. We recommend bringing a power bank to recharge your electronic devices such as phones and cameras.
The camp is equipped with a shared sanitary block, and we kindly ask you to bring your own towel.
All meals are served in the main communal tent or in the cave garden, and we offer traditional Bedouin cuisine. During desert camping, meals are prepared over an open fire, and the cave also features an underground Zarb oven.
During your stay with us, you will have the opportunity to taste delicious Bedouin dishes, including the famous Zarb. This traditional specialty consists of cooking vegetables and chicken underground for around 2.5 hours, resulting in incredibly tender and flavorful dishes.
The following morning, our cook will prepare breakfast before your return to the village. If you have any specific dietary requirements, please inform us in advance. We also provide complimentary bottled mineral water and Bedouin tea throughout your stay.
We do not require prepayment for tour or accommodation bookings. Payment is made on-site upon your arrival in Wadi Rum. We accept cash payments in Jordanian Dinars (JOD). Please note that we currently do not accept credit or debit cards. We recommend bringing enough cash to cover your tour, accommodation, tips and any additional expenses.
Please note that certain types of shops are not available in Wadi Rum. If you are looking for specific items or products, you will need to visit Aqaba, the nearest city. Shops available in Wadi Rum Village mainly sell food and souvenirs.
If you would like to take food with you before leaving Wadi Rum, we have a restaurant where you can purchase takeaway meals. Simply ask your guide to take you there before your departure.
